Job Title: Senior Project Manager/Wholesale IT

Job Description:

  • Provide oversight of front to back PMO operations across the department including governance, assurance and control functions as the Global Process Lead Instill and ensure adherence to best practice tools, processes, templates and standards across project/programmed manager community
  • Facilitate QA and health check activities to ensure high quality project delivery Partner in successful delivery of the portfolio Face off to the Business and their transformation teams to ensure that we are working in partnership Produce programmed and senior governance forum communications, reporting packs and MI Lead and guide a team of PMO practitioners PMO Governance: Definition, implementation and/or enforcement of programmed governance and control processes and templates, including reporting calendar
  • Adherence to Group standards Definition, set up and management of programmed governance structure, including terms of reference and organization charts
  • Secretariat for key programmed governance forums, including pack preparation and recording of minutes, actions and decisions
  • Provision of ad hoc support to the Programmed Manager as required, e.g., Audits, Independent Reviews, Management Updates Involvement in wider working groups to represent AMG ITs interests and help steer the firm’s guidance setting bodies.
  • Actively encourages a learning culture by aligning development, support systems, infrastructure and reward to organizational objectives.
  • Authentically engages a diverse group of stakeholders internally and externally to influence the achievement of best outcomes for all stakeholders.
  • Qualifications Requirements/ Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications. Provide functional management for the PMO practitioners.
  • Effectively deploys basic coaching techniques.
  • Able to coach individuals on a specific skill or subject-area. Is able to offer guidance and suggestions for improvement, providing clarity around performance expectations.
  • Plays a leading role in contributing to individual and team reward and recognition systems, and on-going development of effective performance management measures.
  • Actively encourages a learning culture by aligning development, support systems, infrastructure and reward to organizational objectives.
  • Authentically engages a diverse group of stakeholders internally and externally to influence the achievement of best outcomes for all stakeholders.
