Job Title: Senior Engineer

Job Description:

• 5+ years of experiences in Multimedia video codecs/imaging/Computer Vision domain and exposure to ML based solutions for the domains mentioned.
• Good understanding of signal processing, video compression/codecs (Encoder + Decoder) and other image pre/post processing algorithms.
• Solid C/C++/assembly programming skills, multithreading and OS concepts/fundamentals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and debug video/multimedia features for mobiles.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for: Development, optimization and productize various video codecs / image processing (both conventional and ML based) algorithms on mobile platforms like Android and Windows.
• Enhance video, imaging Firmware solutions and help with video, imaging hardware subsystem enhancements in future Qualcomm Mobile Processors Design of video, imaging features and work with a wide set of teams across the company (systems, software, hardware, etc.) in the productization Customer interaction to commercialize Qualcomm Video/Camera/Computer Vision solutions.
