Job Title: GCP/Senior Consultant Specialist/Group Functions IT

Job Description:

• Cloud platform knowledge: GCP, Big Query Designing and Building Data Pipelines in GCP Strong understanding of data warehouse methodologies programming languages: Python, Node.js , SQL BI Tool experience, Qlik Containerization: Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, GKE Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and / or data streaming
• Strong communication skills Demonstrable experience in data modelling & data design (both logical and physical) Working in Agile framework Strong technical concepts to help team deliver the technical design solutions

Role Purpose:

• Accountable as the technical leader/POD leader with in the team to enable the team to deliver products and services, and continually help the team to improve technically
• This role will carry out some or all of the following activities: Integrating 3rd party data platforms, constructing CI/CD pipelines (using Juniper), building batch and streaming data pipelines for the Google Cloud data platform and Data Warehouse Lead on the design and coordinate development of proof of concepts and prototypes
• Knowledge transfer of Juniper ingestion from 3rd party vendor staff Liaise with senior stakeholders and decision makers that are looking into adopting cloud data solutions for their business to solve current issues
• Work with the Product Owner, Solution & Platform Architects to identify changes required, create & agree necessary stories Ensures the level of automation within the team is optimized at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance
• Work with the Agile Lead to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities
